Manchester Evening News: Style guru Gok Wan shows there’s more to him than frocks

Gok has been enlisted as an ambassador of the World Of Difference Campaign aimed at encouraging adults to take up volunteering with charities in their community.

It’s not voluntary work as we know it since volunteers are paid, thanks to Vodafone. The mobile phone giant is funding 500 volunteers to work at various charities over a period of a few months, with the charities also receiving cash towards any expenses associated with enrolling and employing them at the organisation.
