Metro: Gok’s Teens: The Naked Truth was an oddly engaging look at self-image
There’s always been something quite appealing about Gok Wan in his previous fashion-led shows, thanks to a certain charm and ability to instil confidence in his subjects which is lacking in other, more sharp-tongued patronising TV experts. Love him or loathe him, he seems like the kind of guy who would actually listen if you wanted to share your problems.
So turning his attentions to troubled teens in his latest three parter seems like an obvious choice – and the first of the trio of shows focused on a bunch of youngsters struggling with body dysmorphia problems.
